In this study, a second injector was placed in the combustion chamber of a single-cylinder diesel engine. Through the second injector, water was injected into the combustion chamber of the diesel engine shortly after injection of the diesel fuel. Nitrogen oxides, which are a significant exhaust emission of the diesel engine and the emission of smoke are reduced by water injection. The availability of water injection as an alternative to systems like EGR, Adblue etc. which are used to reduce exhaust emissions in diesel engines has been experimentally investigated.

Abstract: In this study, the influence of the diesel fuel, which changes in temperature continuously in the vehicle fuel deposit according to the climatic conditions, on the amount of injector injection was experimentally investigated. It is a known fact that there is an inverse relationship between the temperatures of liquid fuels and viscosities. The use of a fuel heater to prevent the fuel from freezing in some vehicles and the presence of fuel coolers in some vehicles are a complex situation. Dynamic fuel temperature control must be provided for the fuel viscosity to remain constant.

Abstract: In this study, the process of first movement the engine of the diesel engines in cold climatic conditions is investigated. Especially in cold weather and diesel engines with reduced compression performance, it is difficult to start a cold engine. The glow plugs, flame glow plugs, or intake manifold electrical heating systems used in existing diesel engines are inadequate for running a cold and dysfunctional diesel engine alone. To avoid these negative, a permanent spark plug circuit which is active during the starter is designed. With this designed circuit, it has been experimentally determined that the diesel fuel injected from the injector fires earlier than the glow plug.

Due to the rapidly growing human population in the
world, the use of many underground diesel engines such as
transportation, energy production, heavy industrial machinery
also showed a rapid increase. Due to the widespread use of diesel
engines, increasing performance and reducing harmful emissions
while lowering fuel consumption are at the forefront of research
into these engines. Due to the increase in environmental
awareness around the world, both fossil fuels and fuel systems
are being investigated for diesel engines. The main fuel used in
diesel engines is diesel fuel. Diesel fuel from the secondary energy
source class is also called motor. In diesel engines, many liquid or
gaseous fuels are used as alternative fuels. They are alternative
gas fuels used in hydrogen, natural gas, LPG, DME and biogas
diesel engines. The fuels that are currently the easiest to find and
access in this class of fuel are LPG and natural gas. In this study,
the effect of diesel / LPG dual fuel on engine performance and
emissions was investigated experimentally. The tests were carried
out at constant engine speed and five different engine loads.
Experimental results show that there has been some increase in
NOx emissions from reductions in CO and HC emissions to diesel
fuel. It was observed that there has been improvement in specific
fuel consumption, specific energy cost and effective
efficiency. This document presents the formatting instructions for
